2018 Hero Passion Pro, Passion XPro Launched in India

Hero MotoCorp Limited have been one of the leading automakers of motorcycles and scooters (motorcycles without gear) in India. They were in collaboration with Japan’s Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India until they separated in late 2010. Hero are known for producing highly durable, robust, simple motorcycles suitable for daily commute in the city as well as for occasional long rides.

The all new Passion Pro is the latest version launched by Hero as an addition to their evergreen Passion model variants like Passion XPro. Here are the engine specs and features of this bike.



An extremely simple bike in its appearance, the Passion Pro is an optimal performance and daily commute vehicle. Even though it is not equipped with fancy or stylish features, this bike appeals to everyone with its sleek body, attractive LED – like tail lamp, and unique colour variety of simple as well as mixed shades colours spruces up its looks. The front tyre has a size of 2.75 X 18 – 4 PR/ 42 P while the rear tyre has a size of 3.00 X 18 – 6 PR/ 52 P; the bike has 18-inch wheels.


Engine Specifications

Hero have equipped their Passion Pro model with a 109.0 cc, single cylinder, two valve, air cooled engine which generates a peak torque of 9 Nm @ 5500 rpm and has a maximum power output value of 9.3 bhp @ 7500 rpm. Both self/ electric and kick start options are available with the carburettor fuel delivery system. The transmission set up has a 4-speed gearbox with a wet multi plate clutch. This motorcycle follows the BS IV emission norms.

The telescopic hydraulic shocks absorbers at the front and the adjustable swing arm hydraulic rear suspension ensure a comfortable, hassle – free riding experience on the city roads. The sturdy yet slender the body makes manoeuvring the bike quite easy.

Hero’s Passion Pro is available in five colours – red, black/red, grey, silver, and blue. The XPro variants are available in five colours which are black/heavy grey, black/forest blue, sports red, force silver metallic, and black/sports red.


Hero Passion Pro Price varies according to the variant one selects. The Passion Pro is priced at INR 49,750 on an ex-showroom basis which rounds up to INR 54,600 after the RTO registration and insurance charges. The Passion XPro has an ex-showroom price of INR 52,400 and rises up to INR 57,500 after the insurance purchase and RTO registration process.
